Overall a nice place. Seems to be well run. Only issue for us was theft. We left some items at our site and returned 4 hours later to find them stolen. We were across from the campground host.

Excellent campground! Very clean bathrooms with flush toilets, easy access to South Rim Trail and the park shuttle. On top of that the campground is beautiful!

Campground was quiet and walkable. Even in the snow the bathrooms and showers were warm and a great comfort to have.

This was a shady site. It also had trees capable of hanging up a hammock. Our only complaint which cannot be controlled -- it was really dusty.

Campgrounds are always clean. Other campers are always friendly and turns into a group gathering. Plenty of trees and maintained campsites.

Friendly helpful rangers. Good campground for visiting grand canyon. Minutes from the rim and village. Its a big camp ground so its not the quietest. But would go again, elk walk right through the camp ground. Lots of trees to keep you shaded and water spickets to get more water. Bathrooms were clean too.

I stayed at 3 different sites over the course of a week. The best sites by far are those that back up to the woods, although I never felt on top of another site while staying in the middle of the campground. Bathrooms and water locations are very convenient. If you camp near a water source, you may find neighbors doing dishes and dumping food scraps around the area on the ground though. It seems that many parties are doing this, rather than using the dish sinks outside of the restrooms. Quiet time was at 8PM during my stay, although not strictly enforced. There were a number of generators running and music playing from sites while Id being trying to go to sleep at 9-10PM. They have reopened the showers, however theyre only available from 6AM-12PM. As a guide working those hours on the trail, it means I cant get a shower while Im there working many days in a row bummer. As a visitor in summer, its best to start a day hike around 5AM to avoid the extreme temperatures and exposure. No shower for you either! A ranger mentioned staffing issues with the showers
