Wonderful place to stay, I will recommended Mather Campgrounds to everyone that I know. The services was impeccable and I had a great and relaxing time.

Site 114 had plenty of room for our 30 travel trailer and our 2 vehicles. Nice pull-thru site. It is a little tight driving in the site with a particular tree and rocks along the pavement, but plenty a room after we got situated.

The sites are spread out, large and shaded. They are flat where RV's are parked, restrooms are plentiful and close. Everything about our Mather Campground site was excellent. Our favorite spot!

When we arrived and tried to pull our RV into our campsite, we found the site was too small, despite it being in the list of sites that could accommodate our RV. Thankfully, a campground host saw our predicament and sent us back to the registration building to get a better site. The rangers were very helpful and found us a site that worked right away. Bathrooms were clean and conveniently located and the campground has lots of ponderosa pines which provide shade. We ended up getting around on the shuttle bus which picks up right at the campground. Very convenient! The only negative thing I have to say is that the showers and laundry were a long walk from our site and were only open til 1pm.

Very large pull through campsite, easily accommodated my 28' motor home and tow vehicle. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The location was within walking distance to the village and canyon rim walking trail.

We had a five night stay at Mather this past May 2021. The weather was perfect in every way. We found the campground to be in wonderful condition, clean and well maintained. Covid is still keeping the tours and many visitors away so it was uncharacteristically quiet at the Rim. Many services were closed, especially for food, which was disappointing but manageable for us. The gift stores were all open and the market is wonderful. Biking on the Greenway Trail was fantastic and we rode to the village several times as to well as the visitor center. The visitor center itself was closed. Also the gift shop at the Watchtower was closed. Highly recommend the tram to west canyon Hermit's Rest with 9 easy viewpoint stops and open gift shop. None of the negatives dampened our enthusiasm, it was a fabulous time.
