Easy check in, nice site however we were unable to use our tent on the back of our SUV since the SUV was on pavement.

The visit was ok. The problem was with your web site. When trying to select two consecutive nights, I kept getting a red sign. Ended up making two reservations to cover two nights. You need to fix this. Thanks

Perfect location and security. Super close to bathrooms! About a 30 min walk to the market

Campground was good, quiet neighbors. Some site the blacktop has crumbled away and our pull through site was very small. Camper services building, while convenient could use to be updated. Too bad the NP system is so under funded that these parks cant keep up with maintenance

My opinion hands down a great campground! If you dont like this place your not a camper! Been camping at Mather for 20 years, never disappoints!

Our family had an amazing time camping here. It was clean and very quiet. If possible bring food to camp because the lines for food were long and the food was a bit pricey at the surrounding restaurants and shops. We recommend renting a bike from bright angel to see the sites.

The site was well-maintained and the bathrooms were very clean. We appreciated the easy access to the shuttle bus.

Nice, relatively quiet campground. Good sized spaces. And so many stars at night.

Highly recommend.

Conveniently located near the South Rim, Visitor Center, and General Store. Pretty standard campsite. Clean flush toilet bathrooms. Be sure to put all food/drink in car when you leave for the day. A neighboring campsite didn't and the crows spread their food up and down our entire loop! We left one water jug out ourselves thinking it would be okay and the crows poked several holes in it with their beaks. Not even water is safe from them! They won't bother you if you're at the campsite though.

For a Southern Arizona girl, it was freakishly cold. However, experiencing the Grand Canyon blanketed with snow was quite the magical experience. It's completely doable if you have the right gear (jackets, gloves, blankets, etc) to stay warm. Bring LOTS of firewood if you plan on camping out, 2 bundles were not enough.
