Our site was great and close to restrooms, water and the shuttle stop. Restrooms were kept clean and stocked.

It was great to camp within walking distance from the rim. Nice campground and facilities. Dogs welcome too! My only beef is that the campground said Full but literally half of the spots were open. Recreation.gov should start charging double for no-shows.

No showers, no info on the bus/tram system at the visitors center, no fires allowed, the trash cans are locked. Camp sites are so close together there's hardly any privacy at all. Random trash got thrown on our campsite we had to clean up. Some of my toiletries got stolen out of our truck and we got pranked by someone leaving a half eaten meal in our truck which was for sure not ours. We were advised to conserve water and made our best efforts to do so only to discover that the sinks in the visitors area were constantly flowing water.

Very nice campground basically at the center of ground canyon village. Last shower is at 9:45 pm and you need $5 in quarters.Everyone is very nice and had a great time. Crows will wake you up early in the morning.

Mather is a great campsite, close to the canyon and always kept clean and safe. Highly recommend

Beautiful campsite in the tall trees in the Grand Canyon. Clean flushable toilets, showers were closed due to covid-19. Several fresh water stand pipes and plenty of dumpsters for trash. Large elk roam the camp grounds, but didn't cause any issues. Made for surprising nice close up photos. Lots of hiking trails and easy access to Grand Canyon views. Highly recommended.

Keep food contained with the ravens waiting in the wings. Bring water with you because sometimes the facilities do not have water available for washing dishes or washing your hands. Clean campground, restrooms are clean daily but campers aren’t always very clean. I love the elk walking across our campgrounds with their babies.Awesome experience.
