The campground is great. The site wasn't really private, but it wasn't cramped either. The only problem was - my firewood got stollen on the second day while I was away :(

Easy access to camping site, good size site. Easy access to shuttle buses. Convenient laundry and showers ($2.50 for 5 minutes of a hot shower!). Check visitor center or conservancy store for upcoming events.

Site 306 is fantastic! The site was large enough for my kiddos to play catch and run around. I even set up an Easter egg hunt for them one afternoon! There is a very convenient path that runs along the site that leads straight to the bathroom! Neighbors are spaced out. We even enjoyed several elk roaming through the site early one morning! This site is a short walk to the shuttle that we used to get around the park. We rented a camper van for this trip and it worked perfect for the site, but there would have been ample room for a tent(s).

What a great campground! We stayed in Pine Loop 306, plenty of space to pull a campervan (or RV/TT) through, clean bathrooms, well kept grounds, happy wildlife, nice amount of space in between sites and its nice to have laundry and access to showers.

Very nice, quiet campground inside of Grand Canyon National Park. Camp sites are generously spaced and trees provide some privacy between neighbors. Short 5-10 minute walk to shower and laundry stations.

Nice quiet campground. I almost walked into an elk in the evening. Showers were too far to walk to, and could have been cleaner.

I have the outmost respect for all the Park Rangers and park employees that work so hard to keep this park immaculate and its visitors safe. I love camping in the South Rim

#306 Pine Loop was a fantastic site. Large and very private pull thru site. We had a herd of elk hang out on the edge of our site. Bathrooms were clean and an easy walk on a path. Can’t say enough positive things about this campground and our site.

Nice place to stay. You are very close tot the South Rim and Village so the stay is great. Also the price is very okay.
Would do it again right away,

For the ease of being right in the Grand Canyon, this campground is worth it. We also got to see beautiful deer roaming through our site. That being said, we were harrassed by bees and crows the whole time we were here. Also, the visitors here are clearly not aware of leave no trace/being respectful of the parks. We were advised to call 911 by the camp host when our neighbor was snapping limbs off the trees to build a fire. Very touristy area, would stay again for ease but it was definitely not relaxing.

Nice clean campground, but beware of numerous potholes in road, RV pads coming apart, and don't camp near the bathrooms the air dryers are extremely loud.

Very nice campground with convenient and clean facilities. We had a great time at Mather and the Grand Canyon.

The campground is setup perfectly, the site had a big space and a fire pit already with the water spouts and restrooms accessible wherever you are in the campground. The general store is very close by, unfortunately when we stayed the showers and laundry were closed due to Covid. Will continue to use this campground!
