Took my two boys 4 and 10 year old and they just loved it from seeing the animals to taking the bus and electric scooters around the Grand Canyon. And the people those days were just excellent everyone was super chatty at the camp and the trails would definitely recommend to visit my kids still bring it up. Going back next year for sure

Great campsite, close to the restrooms but not adjacent that there's any sort of smell. The parking spot is pretty large and the campsite overall was very nice.

The people at check-in were helpful. It is really close to the Grand Canyon. We drove over instead of taking the shuttle, but it is really close. Campground was clean and quiet. Each has a picnic table and a firepit. We would definitely stay here again.

Campsites are well set up and spacious! Couldnt have asked for a better place to camp for the first time at the Grand Canyon

On our last day on a 7 day camping trip this female campsite watchdog was extremely rude and hostile and without slightest provocation or resistance on our part regarding fire restrictions started threatening us with police back ups and removing us by force and jail time we felt awful, well never go to Grand Canyon again, never,it was such horrible last day experience, awful.

Showers had very poor hours of operation and are very poorly constructed. The person who designed them should have to take all their showers in them. Next time they would be designed much better!

The campground was clean and peaceful even though it was full. Bathrooms were clean and drinking water was easy to find. Unfortunately, the shower house was closed.

It was great except the laundry and showers were closed! We had to go use the showers at the campground in town!

We loved our stay at Mather Campground. The bathrooms had running water and were very clean. Our site had lots of space for two tents. It was much colder at night than I expected in April and the air was very dry, so prepare for that. Be aware of the crows and squirrels, they can get into your food if you don't secure it really well.

Great campground, I have never had a bad site here. Plenty of fun activities in the park for all.

This is the cleanest campground I have ever stayed in, particularly the restrooms. We only stayed for one night but saw so many animals and had a wonderful time. The sites are a little close together, but it didn't feel crowded at all. The camp host was present and visible but did not harass us, which is a nice change from most camp hosts. We will be back!
