No advance notice was given that campfires weren't allowed because of water restrictions, it forced us to leave early or risk spoiling all the food we brought with plans to cook on the fire, we're a low income family and can't just afford to buy an overpriced propane stove from the park's general store.

I've been camping here for 33 years. Absolutely love it. We've seen alot of wildlife pretty much daily. Never had an issue with other campers respecting the 10pm quiet time rule. There's a place to shower and do laundry. Plus they have a general store that carries just about everything u may need. Also, please don't chop any trees. That's a big no no. U can buy it at a couple stores that are close by. I recommend buying outside of the area before u arrive cuz it can get a bit pricey.

Beautiful campground in the woods, amongst the pines. The sites were well maintained, the cement (?) picnic tables were nice and sturdy, and there were a nice flip-up style grates over the fire pits for those wanting to cook over coal or flames. It looked like every site had these essentials, though some fire pits were taller than others. We brought in plenty of firewood, luckily for us as we missed that there is no harvesting of wood. However, I think plenty of people were breaking this rule, there wasnt a single twig on the ground. The ravens were definitely used to picking apart left out food, we saw a few sites with a raven feast. Other than the ravens, we didnt see any other wildlife at the camp. The bathrooms were nice and cleaneven when I certainly did my fair share of tracking in mud, it was gone by my next visit. There was running water in the bathrooms and trash for those of us who need to dispose of pads or anything else. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle was really nice and convenient, a luxury I dont know if any other NP can boast. We didnt get the chance to use the showers or laundry machines. Overall a 5/5 experience, one of the nicest onsite National Park campgrounds Ive visited to date.

Good campground with an established check in process. Campsites are not too close to each other. There is a laundry and paid showers close by.

Maybe my favorite national park campground? Spaced out sites, not overly crowded, and with the bike route, easily accessible to anywhere in the park without driving. There is some traffic noise where we were (Juniper Loop) but it quiets down quite a lot after dark.
