Oak loop was great! Even with a full campground, it was very quiet at night (thanks to the quiet hours policy). The bathrooms were clean and in good shape.

Well-spaced, neatly arranged sites under trees with wildlife

Nice spacious and clean campground. All facilities available like dumpsters for black and gray water, laundry (including Exchange machine) and water hookup. Nice and helpful camp hosts. Just enjoy the stay ans surroundings. Even in Summer season it doesnt feel crowdy.

We had such a great time on that amazing campground! All amenities are close and in walking distance. Despite it is a huge campground, its still a forest and you feel in the middle of the nature.

What a beautiful campground! It exceeded our expectations! We had site 205, which was spacious and private. The bathroom was a short walk and water spigot conveniently located. The Elk and Mule Deer roaming the campsites were an added bonus. Our only disappointment was the showers, $2.50 for 5 minutes and limited space. We would HIGHLY recommend camping here!

Beautiful campground with an easy walking/biking path to the rim. Elk walked right through our campground.

Mather is shady and peaceful, even though there are SO many campsites. Very easy to walk to the shuttle bus stop, the market, or even slightly longer to the rim. It also has access to the greenbelt trail for biking to the South Kaibab trailhead, the inner south rim area, and Tusayan. Super cool to be able to bike to the trailhead, hike for the day, and bike back! The nearby showers are great, too.

Well sized and spaced lots. The oak loop had plenty of shade. Was visited by a few cow elk as well

Awesome camp site with a provided concrete table and restrooms that are within walking distance. There are also dumpster bins next to the restrooms that helps out greatly when you're trying to clean up your campsite. I'd highly recommend this campsite to anyone.

We had an amazing trip. There were elk in the campground and there was a lot of beautiful snow.

Great camping experience. Campsite had plenty of space and was a beautiful setting. It’s dry camping, but water faucets are conveniently located. Go to the town library for decent internet. Even parked in its parking lot works. The park staff handle crowds well.

Beautiful campground with lots of trees and good space between sites -- and elk wandering through our site!
