Great campground with sites for all types of camping. Facilities were clean and equipped. Mather is also close to everything. Shower facilities were great to have. Definitely worth the $2.50. The general store was a nice surprise. It had everything and prices were mostly reasonable. Enjoyed the elk passing through. On our list to do again.

Really large campground but great position to the rim and an affordable option for all those wanting to experience Grand Canyon.

Great campground - very easy to find and helpful staff at checkin. The sites are a nice size, with picnic table and a fire ring. Clean bathrooms. I was camping alone and felt safe.

I camped at #117 (Juniper Loop) for three nights the week of Thanksgiving -- did not expect the park to be so crowded! The campground itself was a nice respite from the crowds. Site #117 was very close to the bathroom, potable water, dumpster. The ground was too compacted for my tent stakes, so consider bringing rope/twine and some heavy items to anchor your tent instead. Every so often I'd get cell reception (Google Fi). Highs in late November were usually 50F, it was usually freezing or below each night (even got down to 15F my last night). I didn't use the showers or laundry, but please note that they change the hours for camper services during the off-season.

Good campground. The campground is huge, but quiet at night. You are within walking distance of the camp store and the canyon rim, but also there is a shuttle stop near the entrance to the campground. The bathroom facilities are good, but the showers (and the laundry) are in a separate building located just outside the campground and cost $2.50 for 5 minutes.

MY daughter and I tent-camped in October and really enjoyed it. The campground was quiet and the campsites aren't too close together. The bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have a shower facility close by. We hiked the South Kaibab trail and It was easy to get to Grand Canyon village from the campground to take the shuttle in the morning. Beware of the ravens. They're fun to watch, but don't leave small items or food unattended.

Nice camp ground. A privilege to be able to stay at the south rim and be able to take in all of it.

Beautiful campground and a short bike ride away to Mather lookout and all the villages. Campsite 117 (Juniper loop) was not to far from the bathroom, so I could slightly hear the hand dryers. I used ear plugs, so it cancelled out the noise. But it seem to be quite bushy, so separted the three other campsites that bordered it. There was a fire pit and picnic table and private driveway. Definitely recommend this campground.

Very clean and well kept. Close to market and Yapavai Tavern. Little to no cell signal unlike other parts of the park. No showers or laundry available due to COVID.
