Sehr schner Platz, der sich toll in die Landschaft einfgt. WC's waren immer sauber. Duschen & Waschmglichkeit vorhanden, kann ich aber nicht beurteilen da nicht genutzt.

Large campground with nice bathrooms, a pay shower $2.50/5min. Very dog friendly. Easy to navigate and park 27 foot trailer. Defiantly take advantage of the shuttle. :)

Was lucky enough to reserve a spot here the day before our arrival, which turns out to be nearly impossible due to the high demand. This loop is further away from all the facilities, however its also one of the quietest. This campsite in particular is right near the toilets and water-station. Keep in mind that there is a trash-bin right by this campsite, it might get a little loud when people dispose their trash. Its quiet, the spots are pretty big and theres even Elks roaming around the CG. The shower facilities however are catastrophic and the worst weve seen at any Recreation.gov-park - you have to pay $2,50 in QUARTERS - why not just use shower-tokens? You can change your money into quarters by the change-machine located in the laundry room, however if you only have bigger bills youll end up with way too many quarters in your pocket. The showers were, despite several cleaning-times being listed by the showers, always dirty and smelled weird. I actually dont think the cleaners do anything. Not only that, but the shower & laundry facilities are only open til 6pm!! Gotta improve on that - this is THE Grand Canyon. Would return regardless because of Mather CGs great location and price, but wouldnt use the showers again.

Beautiful campground in great area with all those juniper trees. Large spots. We were next to the trash and toilets unfortunately which makes lots of noise. So pay attention while picking a spot! Close to the shuttlebus. About 30 min. Walking to the rim from Juniper loop.

This campground is great. It's clean and quiet. I enjoyed staying in the park and taking a walk to anywhere I needed to go.

We spent 5 days at Mather Campground and have never had a better experience anywhere. The natural beauty, well-spaced sites, location so close to the rim, bus service, elk roaming everywhere made this a memorable trip. I will certainly book another stay next year.

Easy access. Clean campsite. Lots of trees. Sites are a bit close to each other, but still pretty quiet.

Very nice stay. No problems with my reservation, and the campground was comfortable.

We had a 30' RV, and booked site 121 in Juniper Loop. Great spot, lots of space next to the pull-through to enjoy grilling and relaxing. Just across from the bathrooms and water, which is convenient, though you do hear the blast from the hand dryers early in the morning if you're sleeping past 6am. Most people who used the bathroom overnight seemed to be considerate and not use the dryer, but just FYI. The campground is, generally speaking, not very close to the showers area (about a 10 minute walk, 5 min bike ride), and the shuttle was NOT operating at the campground entrance this summer (COVID?). Luckily, we had bikes and biked to the shuttles further away.
