Restrooms clean and well kept, camp host came around regularly to monitor sites during the day. Overall a great experience

Very nice campground with sites far enough apart. People followed the generator rules. There was a shuttle stop close plus still close enough to walk to several places via the greenway. Only complaint is the number of women trying to bathe in the restroom sinks instead of paying for a shower.

We arrived at 7:45 in the morning to be at the reservations window at 8 AM. The person who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. When we got to the camp that evening, it was clean and we were happy to see lots of room between each site. It was remarkably quiet throughout the night. I only wish was that the bathrooms were a little bit closer and that perhaps the walkways to them were better maintained. Our visit to the Grand Canyon and the Mather Campsite was fantastic and a wonderful memory. Thanks.

My Son and I absolutely loved the camp sites and the entire facility including the extra amenities and facilities. It was a cold few days but the ability to build a fire and sit campsite was an incredible experience.

FF is a daily request. Only can reserve one day at a time but if you are first in line they do everything they can to make sure you get the same site and won't need to move. Everything else is amazing there!

I had the good fortune of discovering Mather Campground during a last minute trip to the Grand Canyon in late March. I was prepared for Car camping and was able to get the last spot for the day. Since my stay was for 2 nights I was told to line up in the morning to get another spot for the next night and luckily, I was successful. Along the way I met wonderful people who made my brief stay all the more memorable. The campsites are convenient, well kept and all have a firepit which came in handy during cold March nights. They also have easy access to restrooms (which were very clean) and shower/laundry services if needed. I would highly recommend Mather Campground for any level of camping. Advanced reservations are a always a better bet as the weather gets warmer.

follow the rules,dont leave trash only foot prints and take the bus much easyer to get around

The Ranger who checked is in was soooo great! She understood or needs exactly and found us an excellent and convenient spot to pitch out tent. The campground was clean, as were the WC's. It was truly a bright spot on our journey through the American Southwest!
