Another great stay at Mather Campground. We had a group spot and while it was a hot one weather wise while we stayed, we usually could find one of the tables in the shade and shuffle around to it. The trash, bathroom, and wash station were close by.The bathrooms were sometimes overly messy and I'd love if the kitchen wash area's sink wasn't so low, but that's just if I'm looking for something to improve--it didn't impact our experience at all.

Even on a holiday weekend the campground was quiet. Sage loop is an easy walk to a Blue bus route, general store, showers, and the rim trail. I have been bringing school groups to GC for nearly twenty years. I have never been disappointed.

Great location, very clean and plenty of space for our group. Use the buses to get around, and especially use the red bus line to get the best amazing views!

Campground was awesome. Even had deer and elk wander through during the evening and morning.

The campground was well maintained and offered some spectacular views. We had a heard of mule deer come right into camp one morning which only made the experience even better. The facilities and staff were some of the best I’ve experienced thus far!
