The showers were really gross. It did not look like any one had cleaned up in there. The shower curtains are really gross and need replaced. The campgroup was very quiet and nice.

The shower and laundry facility was very convenient. I was glad I could get a shower since the campground does not have hook ups. This was our first camping trip with a new camp trailer. The campground employees were very helpful. They had the answer to all my questions and when I could not get my trailer hitched up one of the employees provided help and advice so I could get hooked up.

We got lucky and were able to get to a campsite...the place was busy but still able to get shower and having stores nearby was a bonus.

We had a wonderfull stay with our RV at the mather campground. Ideally situated next to the south rim of the canyon, it will temain one of our Highlight in our 4 week Trip to the US West coast.

Mather Campground is clean, quiet with great shower and laundry facility. An easy walk to the rim of the Grand Canyon and bus shuttle stops. I've stayed three times and had very good experiences each time. Will definitely be back !

We had a great stay at Mather Campgrounds last week. The site was clean and ready when we arrived. The staff was super helpful with any questions we had. And the bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. We are so appreciate of the experience we were able to have there!

A basic campground with no RV hookups, but nicely appointed with showers available. Within walking distance to both the shuttles and the Grocery store, this was a great base camp location for our 3 day visit to the Grand Canyon.

Was a little disappointed. I got the handicapped space let it was a far hike uphill to the bathroom and some gravel. Sites not marked handicapped where closer and more accessible. Also because of one way traffic you had to park with your door and awning on the opposite side of the table/pit. The showers are not accessible by wheelchair and you are not allowed to park your camper in the parking lot to go take a shower if you decide to drive there. The plus was there was a great single handicapped shower that was free. That was the best part. The other showers had low pressure that u needed to put double money for a 5min shower.

Good location, nice bus service, not electric or water hookups and generators only allowed 4 hours per day. Difficult for Rvs with refrigeration and freezing temps at night in May but can't run a generator after 8pm till 7am.

Einer der schnsten Orte in den USA, den ich immer wieder besuche. Die Natur ist einfach umwerfend

Hard to review because the campground wasn't fully open and the park is not yet fully staffed so there were some closures, biggest was to the shower facilities (open 6am-1230pm only). This is a no hookup site and no shower made it tough. Even with an rv. However, this is a nice campground with tree cover and is a short distance from the canyon edge. Everyone is super quiet and respectful of each other and observed the quiet time after 10pm (sometimes it went quiet at 8pm). Probably the best spot to camp.in the park if you are fine with being off the grid. Local market and restaurants in the park if needed. I would definitely stay again.

The campground nice and nestled in forest cover. The bathrooms were clean, not all people entering were honouring the mask requirement while entering the bathrooms. Our campsite was across campsites reserved for through hikers doing the Arizona trail and we had a chance to speak to some of them about their experiences.

The site was much longer than advertised. Our site was listed as 27ft long but was at least 40ft which was a pleasant surprise. The down side was it was very unlevel and required the rear tires of the RV to lift about 1.5 ft off the ground. We mistakenly did not take take the bikes off the back before leveling so wound up having to undo everything move the RV out of the site to get the bikes down and then start the process all over again. We will never make that mistake again. Overall it's a nice campground but a drag that laundry and showers were closed.
