Great place for camping

Could have been great, but for some reason the trash trucks came through starting at 4:00 in the morning and continuing loudly through the campground until around 7:00 (when quiet hours ended). This occurred two of our three days staying here, so we unfortunately did not get much sleep.

Best bathrooms weve ever seen in a campground. Plus theyre heated! Everything else was great - super convenient location in the park, SO close to the canyon.

We stayed for 5 night at the Pine loop and we truly enjoyed. Really nice and quiet place walking distance to the visitor center. If you plan going during winter, please bring your heater it gets super cold. The bathroom is heated and that was super cool. The rangers are friendly and helpful. I recomend this campground. Something to be careful about: please do not leave garbage or food unattended the crows will make a mess and destroy your campground

Extremely nice campground with plenty of shade from the pines. Great, large fire pit. If we go here again, we'll strongly consider camping in the same location. Park staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice size campground enough room for several tents. We were a short walking distance from the bathrooms, picnic table, barbecue pit. Everything was clean when we got there and when we left. We had mule deer come right up into our campground and proceeded through our campground.

Great campground. Showers are subpar. Except for bathrooms all exterior water faucets turned off. Still on winter schedule in May!

When I arrived, my campsite was the one they had plowed all the snow onto. The next day they moved the snow. Quiet campground, very full, very convenient location

i absolutely loved this campground. such great nature but also if you forget something, there's a fully stocked grocery store just down the road. we saw a bunch of elk there and of course there were a ton of delightful ravens (which you have to hide your food from). 10/10 experience all around.

I was not able to reserve in advance but got a spot upon arriving. It was raining so I paid and returned later and was lucky that the rain had stopped. It was quiet enough by us but on the other side of the clean bathrooms, there was a loud group. I would not have give a good rating if I had been trying to sleep by the partyers but it was not the case. The Canyon was beautiful and it is great that there are shuttles that you can get on and off of. They stop at each stop every 10 minutes which reduces traffic and allows plenty of options to view and/or walk when desired.

We enjoyed our experience. The bathrooms were tidy and the campsite was reasonably quiet and clean as well. The fellow campers courteous. We were surprised in the morning by wildlife sightings.

We would stay here again.
Overall a very pleasant experience.

Despite the snow from the night before our scheduled check-in, we had a great time and really enjoyed our two-night stay at the campgrounds! We stayed at Pine Loop (No. 279) and would definitely book that same exact spot again in the future. The ground is leveled, with little to no rocks and the parking area can easily accommodate a large vehicle. In addition, you are fairly close to the restrooms but not right next to them where the foot traffic of other campers may be disturbing your experience.

Fantastic, especially on the fall when it's less crowded. My site was spacious and level and the bathrooms were very clean (with running water, flush toilets). Elk bugled and wandered through the campsites, along with deer. When the park shuttle is operating, there's a stop at the entrance to the campground. Good location allows for a short drive to the nearby market for supplies/food and access to all locations on the South Rim. It's a large campground and typically books up quickly.
