No winter dish sink. Plenty of murderous crows. Otherwise delightful.

the assistance from NP staff and the overall friendly and well maintained campground and showers / laundry deserves nothing less than 5 stars - or even 6 !!!

I love Mather campground and especially the generator-free pine loop. I'm so grateful there's at least one loop for people for whom the sound of generators is painful. This site is a little close to the next one and the parking's a little short and trickily angled if you have a big vehicle, but otherwise it's good. There's also a pretty little semi-secluded grove you can set up a tent or table in. A nice site.

Mather is always a wonderful campground with lots of sites and easy walking distance to the General Store and to the rim. Pine Loop is great because it is generator free! Looking for quiet-this is the loop. Also closest to the shuttle stop and store. Rangers are always the best.

Everyone working or volunteering at the campground was really helpful and friendly. Wish the campsite were larger however.

Nice campsite with good bathrooms and a sink to do dishes. Prepare for wind when camping there though which makes the temperatures feel colder

Computer glitches delayed check-in and there had been 5ft of snow in the prior 4 weeks, so staff were dealing with some challenges. I honestly felt lucky to stay in such an epic campground, snow and all. At $18/night it is an amazing deal. I travelled around using the free shuttle bus so I didn't need to move the van during my 3 day stay. And the Grand Canyon was amazing!

Beautiful, large campsite with nice shade. We had elk visiting us during the day and left footprints at night. Conveniently close to the restroom. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Small bathroom with 2 sinks and no shelf to set things on. Bathrooms were not kept up. One toilet was missing a toilet seat. I would love to see America take better care of their campground bathrooms. When visiting Canadian Provincial Parks, I was so impressed with the beautiful campgrounds and upkeep. We need to do that here even if it involves paying more money for a campsite.

Overall, rated 3 stars because it is nice to be in the park,, but the amenities left a bit to be desired. Check in was easy, staff was friendly and campers respected the quiet time rules.Nice sites and layout. Proximity to trails saved time. Didn't like the dirt pads because they quickly got.muddy with precipitation, which we had rain and snow in late March. Campground is close to the General Store, which was HUGE and well equipped. Shower situation leaves a lot to be desired. Of 10 showers, half were closed for an unknown reason and 2 were closed for social distancing = 3 showers available for all women at the entire campground. Showers only available ~8am to 4pm, which is not really acceptable. Cost was $2.50 for 5 min of very hot water, which we both felt was fine, especially because there were so many people who wanted to use so few showers.Bathroom by our site was good, worked well, good lighting. The wash sink outside wasn't working, so we couldn't fill our bladders there in the morning before a hike, and had to find other water.Must store food in car, no bear boxes available at sites.

We enjoyed staying at the campground. Good location and nice campsites. It was fun to see the Elk walking through the campground. It was nicer after the weekend crowds left.

Loved our site. Bathrooms were clean. The down side was that the showers were closed because of Covid, (which was not clear on the website) and the sink outside the bathroom for washing was not working.

Easy to check in campsite. Mostly level campsite with little debris for my tent. Great place to camp before going down into the canyon.
