We stayed in Juniper loop 84. Excellent pull through spot with plenty of space. Next to water spigot supply, near restroom, good privacy, not too far walk to shuttle bus stop.

I love this campground, especially the spots that have extensive open space (forest) around them. My only complaint (and recommendation to the NPS) is that there are RVs and vans that are not really equipped for non-electric sites, but using these sites. So there are cases of people running their vehicle engines frequently to either heat their campers, heat the plumbing when they are worried about lines freezing, or simply to run their appliances. In my mind, this should not be allowed. It makes one feel like they are in city traffic or a Walmart parking lot. But otherwise, I find this to be a pleasant campground and one that gets 5 stars for being conducive to travellers with dogs.

The water restrictions for shower and laundry were beyond the control of the campground, but the fact they were coming could have been communicated to existing guests better. We were only lucky to do laundry before, but we missed showers before, both of which we depended on. Also, the water spigot near our campsite was not functional, we had picked the campsite, in part, because of closeness to a water spigot. The park was clean, quiet and well organized. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I would camp here again, but would like to have better information. You can send emails about surveys, surely you can send emails about impacts. I know you have warnings on the website, but I don't go to the website once I've booked and am on the road.

We stayed in Juniper loop which have distance between sites set in you guessed it small juniper trees. The pull through site and the entire campground had been recently paved and was smooth as butter (thanks Joe!). Staff at check in were extremely helpful and professional. Bathrooms were clean. Water nearby. Nice walk to rim trail through the post office and district offices. Would stay again.

Lots were spacious and neath! If you want to hike down the canyon, best do it early on the morning. Busses and the trail are not packed then.

Wonderful trip. Site was clean and spacious with easy access to park activities. Very quiet and refreshing. Nature and various creatures everywhere. Elk came strolling through campsite and surprised us all. Grand Canyon was spectacular. All facilities were top-notch.

Elk grazed in the campground and drunk from a dripping water faucet. Always clean before filling your water bottle. Mens bathroom had abnormally tall toilets making it a climb to get onto. Werid! Also found the stall doors locked right after the attendant supposedly cleaned them. Probably children but surprised attendant did not unlock them.

One of best campgrounds in National Park system. Always clean, well maintained campsites. Each site is large and separated enough from surrounding camps.
