Wonderful campground. No hookups was made up for by the great area. Trees between the sites. The host gave me a tip about a sunset view and it was FANTASTIC! Just 4 minutes from our site. Could not believe it. Little further than that to the store, but still walked there. Campfire fun.

Well maintained small campground. Sites are rather close and small (typical for NPS), and the campground is not very suitable for larger rigs. Campground host was excellent. Restrooms facilities were among the cleanest I have seen at an NPS campground. Only downside is you are far from Mather, on the plus side, it is much quieter.

Suoer nice and quiet campground away from the busyness! Very dark skies at night and a few minutes walk from the canyon rim, amazing!

It's a great little campground for those who want to see the Grand Canyon away from the crowding and mayhem of South Rim's Grand Canyon Village. But big rigs are onto this place, and the neighboring site had a HUGE RV (Indiana plates) that ran their LOUD generator until 10 PM. No quiet evening around the campfire for us. So disapppinted. The next morning we complained to the NPS campground ranger, and he was completely disinterested and did NOTHING. The NPS should actually make an effort to ENFORCE the generator hours.

The campground was beautiful, the bathrooms were clean, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely love to stay here again!

This was a lovely campground. Some of the spaces are smaller (as advertised), so we parked our trailer in the site and then parked our pickup close by in the big Desert View watchtower parking lot. The sites were clean and well spaced, bathrooms were clean and convenient, it was very quiet (although some people were using generators during the specified hours), the host/ranger was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. It was wonderful to be in such a quiet and comfortable campground that's a 5-minute stroll from the rim!

To be perfectly honest, finding the site proved to be quite difficult until I entered Latitude and longitude coordinates on Google maps. When I finally found the camp site, the weather proved to be unbearable for any kind of tent camping. I clearly underestimated the weather. It was insanely cold and windy. Unfortunately I made the decision to abandon the site. I packed my things and went to a warm hotel. I definitely plan on returning but during warmer conditions.

Good place and really close to Desert View point. Very quite and great place to be away from the noise from your phone- no reception here.

I have visited many parks over the last two weeks. The host at this park is hands down the friendliest and most helpful one I had the pleasure to meet.
