Camp host was great. The site was extremely unlevel and would soap in the restrooms really too much to ask?

Close to some great views of the canyon. Great host and well-kept grounds, would recommend

Pretty site with lots of space (enough for at least 2 tents). We ended up placing our tent in the little patch between the trees for some shade. There's a lot of trees and bushes around which makes the site pretty and green. There's not so much privacy between the campsites but there's a good amount of space between them so you don't feel cramped. It's a short walk to the restrooms and the water station which are very nice. There's a great little trail on one end of the campground that takes you to a spectacular viewpoint of the canyon without the crowds. There's a gas station and convenient store right by the entrance of the camp.

The campground is very well situated, you can even walk 5 min and have a beautiful view of Grand Canyon. The spots are well organised, not too close from eachother. Campground host was very nice. Clean restrooms.

Desert View was a little oasis. Great facilities. Site 17 was perfect in size. And the little trail to the rim was amazing for viewing!

Really nice campground. We enjoyed the location and experience. We hiked the Grandview trail which is rugged, but spectacular. The tower area is must see. Hope they reopen the upper tower space soon. While there, we had a big thunderstorm arrive, and the canyon was alive! Wow! The Desert View campground sites were clean and spaced well. The bathroom facility had sinks and air dryers, plus a sink in the back to do dishes if you want. The RVs were restricted to running their generators to a few hours in early evening and morning so that helped keep the campground quiet. The camp host, Alan, reached out to us and gave some great information on trails and the area. He was always accessible if we had questions and kept the place very clean and organized. We had a wonderful time, and the canyon never disappoints those who relish an ever-changing vista and experience.

We stay here all the time. It is clean and away from the bigger campgrounds. First time for making a reservation when it is usually first come, first serve. I understand with Covid. Still a good campground!

The campground was beautiful and well maintained. The campground is located near the rim of the canyon and there is a trail that leads to the rim for some spectacular views. Alan the camp host was awesome and very helpful. Most of the sites are better suited to tent camping or teardrop or popup campers. There are sites for RV's (tow vehicle and trailer) that are 30 feet or less but some can be a little tight to navigate into. The only criticism is that the online site description needs to have info on length and if able to accommodate a RV. Overall this is a wonderful campground and we would use it again.

Desert View camp ground was very close to the Grand Canyon, the camp host gave me good tips to see the canyon in a very private setting only accessible through the camp grounds. Its location was convenient to explore the park and the camp ground is well maintained and quite.

Wonderful location. Quiet, family friendly, and host was just as great and welcoming. Beautiful stars to gaze at night. General store was walking distance near tower.
