Wonderful campground with excellent sunset view of the canyon a short walk away. Our site was fine for a small tent but larger tents would be better at some of the others we saw.

Such a gem of a campground. Quiet, secluded, and very well-kept. The camp host is kind and keeps the campground and restrooms very clean. I would choose this any day over Mather for Tent camping.

Very calm, camp host was amazing service minded and helpful. Fantastic view only a few steps from our spot. The campground was really nice quiet and private.

Our family LOVED staying in the Desertview Campground. It was quiet and not too long of a drive to the main Visitor's center and trails. Our 3 young children loved having a private site for some nature bathing and playtime. ... just look out for the cactuses. We had a bull elk roam through our site one morning and many hummingbirds throughout the daytime. The night sky was also impeccable.

Desert View campground provided the most stunning view of the canyon by far. Sunrise overlooking the canyon was phenomenal, and the nearby market area provided everything we needed. The sites were shaded and private The best part was the organizer conversation between a ranger and a Native American woman who grew up on the rim. The whole stay far exceeded our expectations which were already high.

The campsites are smaller than they look on the maps, but the camp hosts were very congenial and helpfully shuffled me into a pull-through site that better accommodated my pop-up.

Great camping spot! Clean rest rooms, short drive/walk towards the desert view tower which in my opinion has the best view of the Canyon!

A terrific campground and the camp host was friendly and always around to recommend the trails to take near the campground.

We loved our camping site! It was a great spot! We were able to pitch our tent under some trees, so it was shaded from the sun the next morning! The only thing I would change is making the path to the bathroom a little more pronounced, we walked around on the road a couple of times because we felt like we were walking through others' campsites. Still overall though it was a very quiet campground with plenty of space between each spot! Much better than a KOA!

We loved the camping site and the location. Everything was right there around the campground. There is even a gas station nearby we haven't used though.

Ranger was very helpful at checkin. Clean bathrooms and sites. Not too crowded. Perfect place to camp and walking distance to the rim for sunrise and sunsets. Loved it.
