Lovely treed campground. Must go hikes: avalanche creek and hidden lake. Thunderstorm came in so be prepared for all weather.

Giving this campground 4 stars instead of 5 because of the physical sites themselves and the showers. We stayed in the C loop. Chose this loop because it doesn't accommodate larger RVs and tends to be quieter (we are tent campers). While this was true (quieter, no generators), it is a hilly loop and many of the sites are small pull-throughs on both sides of the road. It also is pretty well forested so there are not any sights but does offer good shade if it's hot out. Some of the sites would not be great for tents because of how tight they are and the hills (true of site C127 which barely fit our small tent and was still very close to the fire ring). The bathrooms are adequate however, there are only 4 showers for a 200+ sized campground and they are in loop A which is a bit of a walk from C or D loops. If you opt to drive to the showers, there is no where to park nearby and you have to park at the amphitheater and walk. The bonus: great location! You couldn't get any closer to Apgar visitor center which makes it easy to catch the shuttles in the early morning or beat the traffic coming into the park. Campground was clean and C loop was quiet.

If you are in a van/camper, make sure your site is somewhat level. We had a very difficult time attempting to level and were unsuccessful. If you are in a tent, the pads are great.

Fish Creek camping includes access to showers on Loop A. The trick is showering at unpopular times to assure hot water. If you try to shower after sunset you will be have a glacier shower indeed.Fish creek was a great camping location! Very family friendly. Walk to lake access.

Be sure to check your campsite geographies for a successful trip. Our site was on an incline and difficult to see in the picture provided due to in the pic the site was snow covered.

We snagged some last minute spots for a couple of days before Labor Day weekend. While I am typically a fan of remote, boondocking It was really nice to be camping in the park and close to all of the spots we wanted to see. We stayed 2 nights in the C loop and one night in the B loop. I have to say we much preferred the vibe in the C loop as the generators were a little loud (as well as the people.)
