While the actual campsites were nice, C098 and C097, the only showers available were in the A loop. And only 2 showers were working, without hot or even warm water. That's 2 showers for the entire Fish Creek campground.

The US national park service campgrounds are overall in poor shape, but the facilities at Fish Creek Campground are pretty much the worst I've experienced. The positive aspect of this campground is the location. Other than that, the campsites lack privacy in spite of the trees, the bathrooms are on their last legs and the shower facilities are decrepit. The Apgar Village and West Glacier nearby were quaint when first built in the 1920's, but are now overrun with tourists and provide little in the form of camping practicalities. The businesses there do provide restaurant services and trinket shopping. Make sure to stock up on necessities in neighboring towns. Glacier NP is spectacular though and worth the annoyance of a run-down camping facility. Do your homework, make your reservations for camping and vehicle passes at the earliest possible time or your activities within the park could be severely limited.

Lovely campground with ample shade, the restroom on our loop was down and they had protolets but this wasnt an issue for us. Great ranger led programs at the amphitheater. We would absolutely stay here again.

It was a great campground to be in! We weren’t allowed to have a fire due to wild fires but it was great! Beautiful views and close to grocery stores!

Our check-in was seamless, and the campsite was clean when we arrived. The space was a bit small, but we were able to move the table and make the space compatible with our 4-person tent. The bathrooms were well taken care of; however, the showers were crowded in the morning and evening (there is one shower in the entire campground). The staff were always visible, and it was not difficult to find folks for help or information. Trash bins and bear boxes were never far away.
