Great location! I only wish the showers were closer.

Nice sites were big and clean. Did not like Night of the Grizzlies at the amphitheater. Should probably warn people first especially families with children.

We loved our stay, we just wished the bathrooms were a little bit more checked on for clean and better supplied. Toilet paper was out and would love easier access to showers. But campsites are somewhat private with trees and beautiful camp sites. Would love to go back!

We really enjoyed the campground. Bathrooms were clean and safe, and campground roads were in decent shape. Some of turns in B Loop were tight even for our medium sized trailer 27'. We had wanted to stay longer but the campground closed.

In making our reservation at Recreation.gov,, we were only allowed to make a reservation through 9/5, however the campground actually closed 9/6 (Labor Day). Recreation.gov will need to make the reservation end date the same as the Glacier Park Service.

Can't beat enjoyment/experience at Lake McDonald

We enjoyed our stay at Fish Creek Campground because we felt lucky enough to have secured a spot within Glacier NP. Our situation was also unique because it was the first time we rented a campervan. The sites are situated rather close together and luckily the campervan formed a buffer between the 'camp' area and the roadway where we could see other huge RVs. If I had been staying in a tent it may not have been the intimate camping experience that I am used to, because the large majority of the camp was enormous motorhomes. The campground as a whole is very wooded so you can still feel the forest around you. Only one of the loops has showers so we had to drive to another loop to shower, however the flush toilets and potable water was easily accessible. The park staff was very informative and friendly.

All of the rangers at the campsite are so friendly and helpful! We enjoy returning to this campground each year. Beautiful location next to the lake and nice spacious sites.
