I did not appreciate having to pull up my camping reservation and show it the the rangers EVERY SINGLE TIME that I came into or left the park. They had to see it at the vehicle reservation stop to be sure I could enter the park without paying again. It was redundant, excessive, inconvenient and unnecessary!!! The road between Fish Creek and Lake McDonald Lodge was a disaster!! It was in such terrible shape it had people in our vehicle throwing up from the roughness! All of the pull outs were blocked off, all of the trail heads were blocked off! You could not stop anywhere!! We stayed in Fish Creek Campground Loop A because of the convenience of the showers, but they were absolutely disgusting! One had the shower head broken, in one the shower head merely trickled, stall 2 was the best but the walls were covered in bugs and filth. The floors were nasty! You need to worry a little less about making sure every vehicle is carded multiple times a day and waste personnel just sitting alongside the road for that and use some of them to clean and provide some maintenance for the showers and facilities that we are paying for!!! I have been coming to Glacier National Park for over 50 years now and this was the absolute worst trip I have experienced here!! If I can not stop anywhere to view the sites, if I cannot stop at the trailheads and get out for a hike, if I cannot use the showers because the water is a mere trickle then I certainly should not have to pay the $30 to get in!! I mean what did I pay for? Since I also paid for the campsite. If you cannot maintain the beautiful park with the millions of dollars that are pulled in every year then maybe you need to close it for a year and get ALL THE WORK DONE to the roads, buildings and facilities and then re-open when it may be worth the fee! Besides all of us pay for the National Park through our taxes so really we should not have to pay to enter the park or drive through it anyway! Very Disappointed in 2023! Sharon A.

Beautiful campground, no hookups but great restrooms with newly added showers. Loop A is great for kids circling on bikes, stairs down to the lake. So many trees, some tight turns if you have a big trailer. We will definitely be back!
