Fish Creek Campground is a great spot to explore the Glacier National Park. It offers flushing toilets and and NP employees are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in D149 for 5 nights, we had our camper van which helped us create privacy from the site across the road. Overall this place is gorgeous, well maintained, and a great location. We’d definitely go back.

This site is at the entrance to D loop. We backed in easily and set up our tent in a cleared area (no marked tent pad). We snagged a reservation using the four day window and are noticing that the sites made available may be somewhat less desirable. The hosts warned of an active black bear named Reggie and made sure we locked everything in the vehicle. There is a 10mph sign directly in front of our site that is not adhered to by those on D loop so the kids on bicycles needed to be extra careful. The showers were only available on A loop and you can’t drive and park to use them so a bicycle worked well to commute to A loop.

Cool campground with lots of friendly staff and easy access to the lake and Apgar village. My spot (D149) had plenty of shade and not far from the bathroom and trash can. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of is there was no grate on the fire ring to cook.

We stayed at Fishcreek for 5 nights and it was spectacular! The campground was beautiful, conveniently located, had large and well maintained campsites, and the bathrooms/showers were clean (and had hot water!). Fishcreek was also a 3min drive from Apgar Village, which has a grocery store, restaurant, and several gift shops. If you are looking for a peaceful, end pristine camping area, I would strongly recommend staying at Fishcreek!

Great spot. Only one shower building in loop A, but otherwise a well maintained.

Beautiful park with nice, forested campsites and excellent water. Interesting interpretive ranger program on edible plants and other subjects in the evening at the amphitheater and other locations. Popular parking areas such as Avalanche and Logan Pass fill up EARLY. Campground needs more shower facilities. Only one shower house for four camping loops.

Luckily got first come first serve sites, sites were nice. In the comfort of being around people, but not too close. Try to find a walking path down to Lake McDonald, and check out the shows in the amphitheater, some cool stuff.
