The sites in Loop C are not level. I think there should be better warnings about this on the website.

Only issue was the 9 miles of road construction on Going to the Sun road coming in from the east. Also very hard to get reservations. Campsite itself was great/as seen online.

First off, youre in Glacier NP, so an absolutely great location. The downsides .. very limited bathroom facilities, just a couple per campground loop, and not very well maintained. Also, many of the sites have very limited level areas, if at all. Also, the park service should provide slope information on each site; the site photos are pretty lame and not helpful at all .. better to rate each site on degree of slope (I.e., negligible, moderate, high or extreme) so you know what youre getting. Reserved a site that was supposed to accommodate a 25 RV, though leveling the unit was extremely challenging. Would have been nice to know that up front. Gorgeous campground right on the lake; facilities and site details are definitely below average.

Every part of Glacier is extraordinarily beautiful! Even with smoke from the wildfires, we had the best time! This campsite was located in the perfect spot next to the lake and close to the west entrance. So many fun activities, including hiking (just get up early to get a parking spot before 7), paddle boarding at the lake, jumping off the bridge that was the old entrance to the park, riding the bike paths that go throughout the west entrance, rafting the Flathead river just outside the park, getting huckleberry ice cream and sodas in Apgar Village, and hanging out at our beautiful campsite. The only thing I would say is that some of the campsites are a little small and I wish there were showers in each loop - and we were really hoping to see a bear:) But those are minor things - would recommend to everyone!

Overall , a nice campground, heavily treed, close to lake, nice beach ( pebbles, not sand). The individual sites are very small, and tent pads can be practically on the road. The sites are heavily graveled, outside of the pad. Many sites are on a slope. We had a difficult time with 2-- 4 man tents in our site, don't bring a large 8person tent. Spent 8 days here, more or less all sites very small. Everything is beautiful, just tight with 4 people. Also most of the designs, have the fire bit 15 feet from the pad, need to be extremely cautious with ambers hitting tent. However, recommend, but not the place where you're gonna sprawl out, so double think on large family sized tents, bring 2 smaller ones instead.
