Loved the campground! My one and only complaint is that there was only showers in one loop. Otherwise, it was excellent and we loved our stay!

Strong campsite/ground experience overall. Easy check in (after hours) and attentive and friendly ranger staff, who were visible through the day. Well kept bathrooms (thank you!). Dense-ish sites, and if neighbours were conscientious, all good. One late evening arriving couple talked like they were at home, full volume, keeping all around them awake to near midnight. Beautiful area, but no spectacular views from C loop as set back a bit from the lake. Hot showers in A Loop, free and great, but 2 of 4 non-operational. More than a few tent areas in C Loop not level. Try to determine if yours is or isnt.

We had a great experience camping at Fish Creek. The worst part about it was trying to get the reservation - it's extremely hard to get reservations inside the park. It's like winning the lottery if you get one (for real). Beware that there is a huge variety of shapes/sizes/slopes of sites inside this campground. The sites along the water in Loop D are huge and spaced out - just gorgeous. Loop C is a no-generator loop and quite a few sites there could hardly fit a backpacking tent, and even then on a slope. Some of the sites in C are on the water and have decent room and some are on the water and pretty small. We were in Site C141 and managed to just squeeze our 10x15 tent into a spot between trees in the back. Although we weren't on a waterfront site it was literally maybe a 45-second walk to access the lakefront, and the views there are gorgeous. The short Rocky Point Trail can also be accessed from there going east along the lake from the campground, and it's very pretty. We were able to just carry our inflatable kayaks down to the water from our site, which was super convenient. Although we were there in early July, we were able to sort of swim (many people were swimming/playing in the lake - it wasn't as super frigid as we anticipated). The only showers are a bit of a hike from where we were - on the other end of Loop A. We had one good shower and one later in the evening where there was no hot water left and it was absolutely freezing. There's no charge for the showers. The amphitheater was on the way there and had ranger programs every night. The location of this campground is super convenient - close to Apgar if you need ice etc. or if you want to eat at a restaurant, and it's on the Going to the Sun Road Corridor, so with your reservation you don't need a ticketed entry. Overall it was a great location and we were so thankful to be inside the park. I'm giving it four stars because some of the sites are literally on the road and/or sloped or tiny.
