We had a lovely stay at Fish Creek Campground -- the park rangers who checked us in were incredibly accommodating and friendly!

A perfect location for a base camp.

The campground is very well maintained. The facilities were always clean. We are grateful for the ability to dump our gray water so as not to attract animals to our site. The ranger talk we attended was well done - super interesting. We learned a lot about bears in Glacier and were able to distinguish between the grizzly and black bear plushies at the camp store, since we did not encounter one in real life. Which Ranger Steve would say is good.I would recommend looking into a rafting trip or a boating excursion in the park. We did the Two Medicine Lake boat tour, which was a bit of a drive, but well worth it to experience the east side of the park. That area of the park was far less crowded due to its isolation.

We enjoyed the area immensely. The sites were very near to neighboring sites, but with lots of tree cover, so it didnt feel uncomfortably close. Our site had only 1 not so level space for our largish tent (10x12), so my sleep was a little disturbed as I climbed up my air mattress throughout the night. The generator free loop was so very quiet! You hardly ever heard your neighbors early in the morning either. Our location with a short path to the lake was a perfect morning coffee spot to watch the birds over the lake. I was a bit disappointed that there was no soap or hand sanitizer in the restrooms during this time of Covid. Lots of signs in the bathroom instructing us to wash our hands, but unless you brought your own all you could do was rinse.Loved the evening ranger programs! This is one of our top parks & we will be back to explore the area again.

The campground was clean, restroom facilities clean and the weather was gorgeous. Everything we wanted to do was in close proximity.
