Fish Creek campground was excellent. Camped during second weekend in June. Weather was between 65-75 deg. Short periods of clouds mixed with sun throughout the week despite weather forecasting Tstorms and cold. We got stuck with loop B bc we didn’t plan ahead early enough to get loop C or D which were closer to the water. We “assumed” closer to the water would have to be better but that wasn’t true. All the campsites were heavily wooded so even if you are by the water all you see are trees from your campsite unless you take a short walk down to the water. Loop B was also a short walk/bike/drive to the water so it was fine. Much less busy than Apgar but busier than sites further into the park and first come first serve locations. Our fire pit didn’t come with a grill grate which was novel news for us so plan accordingly. We had park rangers camping in our loop as the “camp hosts” which was super convenient for questions and updates. Didn’t come across any bears (fortunately? Unfortunately? Idk lol) but the command to be bear aware is everywhere so… beware lol. Other than that the experience was fantastic. Glacier was better than advertised and simply an incredible nature experience. People were kind. Rangers we’re helpful and friendly. I look forward to taking my kids some day.

Campground was nice, but the tent pads flood. They are often at the lowest point in the campsite so rain is a problem. We tented for 2 weeks 1 week in glacier and 1 week in Banff. In Banff the campsites were much nicer with tent sites that didnt flood and had warming huts with wood stoves to get out of the weather. We much preferred this campground compared to glacier. As US national park campgrounds go its above average, but we like the Chisos basin in big bend and pebble creek in Yellowstone better. But its much better than rmnp camping. Also we noticed the campsites are angled the wrong way often times which makes backing in an rv impossible we noticed.
