Fish Creek was a beautiful campground. Well kept, campground hosts were friendly and helpful. The rv parking areas could be wider and groomed a bit better, but overall fine. The firepit and tent pads were great ! Super roomy and loved that each site was secluded. The only gripe I had was the showers. Three showers (one was out of order, so technically four) for a campground of over 178 sites was a hassle and woefully inadequate. There is sufficient room in each loop to incorporate showers in those locations. Otherwise, gorgeous park and would stay again.

Clean and well maintained campground - great to be able to jump in the lake for a swim after a day of hiking.

Major Issues

It was nice to have a campsite in the Glacier National park! One downside is that there was only 1 set of showers for 4 loops of campsites. Our bathroom didn't have handsoap and the hand dryer didn't work well. There is only 1 Mile of biking near the campsite so most of the people biked on the road. Of course, the best part of staying here was closeness to trails and the park.

The campground is gorgeous. We were so thankful the showers were open. The area is clean and well cared for. Staff was very friendly.

Fish creek campground is nice, and has expected amenities for a National Park campground. However, be aware that campsites here run on the small side, especially if you are pulling a medium to long travel trailer or larger RV. Most of the sites are pull through, but their posted length is deceptive. For example if it says it will accommodate a 20ft travel trailer, it is more like 15ft. It is not that it cant handle the 20ft, but there is absolutely no maneuvering room. Also, several sites are on significant slopes and we saw several trailers having to do some very creative leveling. If you are tent camping, you wont have these issues. Direction of travel thru each loop is counterclockwise. So, if you get a space in the inside of the loop your door/awning will face the road and not your campsite. Better to get a space on the outside of the loop. Also, with regard to overall space, be mindful of where your slide outs are (if you have them). As stated above the sites tend to run small and narrow.
