Small place, you dont have too much space o privacy from one camp site to another. No food storage Good thing; is very well located, very close to lakes McDonals

After having stayed at a campsite at Yellowstone, I was very surprised to find that this campground at Glacier had the spaces so tightly packed together. We spent one night in A loop and it is the only loop with free showers. Hot water runs out depending on how many people shower in a row of course. Our campsite was heaven, it backed up to a cliff so we had no one behind us and the trees between ourselves and the next site were thick and plentiful. We then stayed in B loop where there is little to no privacy between campsites. We could always see and hear all our neighbors and same for them. And it was packed every night. Luckily, we were directly next to the restroom so that was nice. You can easily access Lake McDonald through Loop C, highly recommend that area. Overall, I had a wonderful time there, but as someone who was spoiled for my first camp at Gardiner, MT I was shocked when I set up camp here at Fish Creek.

This campground was fine overall, but my biggest complaint is that there was NO SOAP in the bathrooms! No hand sanitizer, no place for soap to even be put. I dont expect much out of a campground bathroom, but the least they could do is provide soap, especially with the sign in the bathroom about the importance of hand washing.

Excellent ranger programs, great job of educating the public on bear awareness, gorgeous campsites. Absolutely would stay here again.

We had a great time at the fish creek campground. Very peaceful at night and it is nice to be within the park to visit The Glacier. The downside was that we booked different site based on availabilities and it is not possible to streamline afterwards even if the site that you are in suddenly becomes available. The bathrooms were cleaned daily which was nice and you have access to the lake which is a definite plus.

The perfect time to visit Glacier Park. No crowds at all. While the camp ground was fully booked the park itself felt very sparsely populated. Many amenities are not open but it did not really affect the overall visit. Going to the Sun Road is open almost to the eastern most entrance.
