Great place to base your Glacier trip out of.

Good size pull-through loop, site was private with dense woods on one side and a few trees between the adjacent sites.

The grounds are gorgeous. The Rangers do an excellent job at ensuring safety and compliance with rules to keep all guests safe. Access to water and bear boxes are easy and the bathrooms were clean. Having the campground adjacent to Lake McDonald was a HUGE treat! Our campsite (#96 is loop C) was wonderful. We had plenty of space and shade.

Wonderful campground! The campsites and bathrooms are well maintained and clean.

Wonderful sites nestled among the trees. Bears were pretty active and we were surprised that each site did not have its own bear box but you can keep things in your car which helps - but if you're in a truck with a soft cover as we were it's more of a challenge. Because of bears gray water has to be disposed of at the restrooms so keep that in mind. Great location from which to explore park.
