We camped at Fish Creek in our camper van for 10 days in early June and it was always very quiet and peaceful, and the bathrooms were cleaned every day. Do note that if you are camping here, and want to take a shower, you will need to go to Loop A, where the showers are, but you cannot park in Loop A; have to park in the amphitheater parking lot, and walk 100 yards or so up a footpath to the showers.

Our site, 143 was very unlevel and next to the restrooms. The restrooms were closed so we had to use port-a potties. The trails were great. Also the programs in the amphitheater were very good.

The site was extremely unlevel. We had to use every block we owned plus some found rocks to stabilize the trailer. In addition, the road direction meant that our entry door faced the road rather than the campsite making everything feel backwards. That said, we were extremely grateful to have gotten a site within the park which granted us access to much of what the park had to offer.

Sites in Loop C are mostly slopped. Some have low hanging branches & are narrow.

great campsite, great location. Rangers were so kind and went above and beyond with providing information and educating our kids. Fish Creek campground is clean and shady. There are showers in loop A. We stayed in loop C which was closer to the beautiful lake. Bathrooms are clean and well lit. Three is also a room to dump wash water. Most of the camp sites are small. I had heard that they were very sloped and hard for campers, but they appeared mostly flat to me. However they do not want you camping anywhere near vegetation growth and asked us even to move our tent onto the gravel near our car. Bring extra padding if you plan to sleep in a tent. Perfect for car or camper camping. Bear boxes are shared between several site. We just kept our food locked in our car as per the ranger instructions (we are from california where the bears are known for breaking into cars, but we were told this does not happen in Glacier).

Clean bathrooms and relatively quiet campground. Nice access to the water by the beachhouse and clean, hot showers a few camp loops away. Our site wasn't very private, near the bathroom, but it didn't end up being much of a problem.

We had such a lovely time. The staff was so helpful (especially Duane!) and welcoming. Excellent spot right next to Lake McDonald!

Amazing park!! Of course we drove the Going to the Sun Road and it was gorgeous, even if we couldn't go all the way to the east entrance. Lake McDonald lodge and cabins looked like so much fun! Lake McDonald itself was beautiful. We had our boat inspected multiple times and so appreciated the job they have to do. The Rangers were super accommodating as we only had reservations for one night but every morning we'd check and it always seemed they had a cancellation or early departure and would fit us right in...you just have to be willing to move campsites! I think we stayed in 4 different campsites and all of them felt very private. The hiking was awesome. We even braved the less traveled gravel road to Polebridge and then the 6 "short" miles to Bowman Lake. My only complaint is we had to leave after five days.

The park is absolutely beautiful. I found the campsites in loop A generous and the bathrooms very clean. We hiked the McDonald creek trail and the hidden lake trail from Logan Pass. Both were Fabulous. The views are breathtaking. We visited this campground during the 2020 pandemic. We were a little afraid of how the park was handling the social distancing and mask wearing. I have to say they were fantastic.

Beautiful campground in an Amazing National Park. Bathrooms were clean, hosts were helpful, and park rangers were patient with our many questions. We had a terrific visit despite many closures as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
