This was the first time in all our camping experiences not to ever meet a host at the campsite. There was a board at the entrance directing us to just go to our reserved site and that a host would be by later in the day. That never happened. And didn't happen the second day either. We had no campground layout map so no idea where bathrooms, water or showers were located. We had to find all of that on our own. On our check out day, someone that appeared to be associated with the campgrounds drove by and said "oh are you leaving?" as though they had no idea how long our reservation was! As for the campground itself, it's a shame it isn't more regulated. RV's destroying trees with the bump outs as they are on a site that was too small for the size of their RV, multiple campsites on our loop that left food, cooking apparatus and coolers out all the time. Even when no one was present at their campsite. In a campground that has bear activity, this is criminal. Not only for humans but for bears that might be encouraged by it. I think all these issues could be addressed had there been an active host(s) managing the site and making their presence felt. It was a far cry from what we experienced at St. Mary's one the east side of Glacier and any other campsite we've ever stayed in.

We were at site C103 and it was a great spot. Pretty level with pull through access. Had no issues setting up our roof top tent on a trailer in the configuration we wanted and still room for our 4Runner. Easy access to the trail that goes around the lake and the lake itself. Potable water and bear locker at site. Restrooms and trash cans just a couple sites down and across the road - close but didn't notice any extra foot traffic. Neighbors are close but didn't feel too close (it is a big and busy campground). Loved being within GNP and having access to Apgar Village and other amenities along with easy access to Going to the Sun road. Would definitely come back but stay longer!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
