People running shop vacuums to clean their car every morning, camp sites are so close you can't even hardly whisper and 2-4 sites can hear you. Traffic at all hours of the night. First time I've been in a natl campground, they may be for some people but not for my family.

Great campgroun, mostly pull-through spots, quiet.

Beautiful campground with a perfect location at the foot of Lake McDonald. Easy access to the shuttle.

To anyone towing anything over a 15' bumper pull trailer, do not stay at Apgar. Unbelievably tight, you will wreck your truck or trailer at some point. Tables and fire rings on wrong sides of the trailer and no space to extend awning and/or slides. They literally stack you on top of another. you'd think your neighbor is part of your campsite. you will have to experience this to understand what I am saying. This site should only be available to tenters only. But with the Bear issue that's not a good idea either. Go stay somewhere in West Glacier and be happy.

Helpful and professional rangers. Clean campsite. Beautiful lake. It is great to have the rangers on site and be able to talk to humans when we arrive. We see empty campsites and yet the reservations says the site is full. That could be improved.

The campground is in a great location. The D174 site I was in is a little uneven, but not bad. Within walking distance to Apgar Village for food, ice, fire wood, and rentals (kayaks, ebikes, SUP, etc). Hosts were super nice.
