I have camped here many times and love the river here. This is the second year we have not had access to drinking water, which has been an inconvenience. The hosts kept the pit toilets very clean, but they still REAKED in the heat. I had to cover my nose and mouth when using the facilities. There needs to be parking closer to the Blue Hole.

Noisy, crowded, litter almost everywhere, even alongside and in the river.

La Wis Wis is a lovely campground set in old growth forest next to a stream. There is swimming at Blue Hole, nearby. The sites vary in size from small to very large but it isn't clear what size they are when you book so be aware.Site 22A is nice but very small. I think it would be good for a single tent. In a pinch, you can put down 3 tents but it is not optimal.

Site A22 was awful. Absolutely no where to put a tent. We had to set up on the pavement driveway. Low branches hanging over the fire pit is a huge fire risk. They were just out of reach, so we couldnt cut them even if we had the tools to. Sites along the A Loop are practically on top of each other, no privacy. The water wasnt working either, which we did get notified ahead of time.

Clean bathrooms, big campsites, and a lovely river!

I love La Wis Wis! I love the river and I love the trees! There was no water this year which was a challenge. We could not have a campfire even though it was raining. We stayed anyway. My sons tent was infested when it rained by millions of tiny. Bugs. The pit toilets were stinky. Will we be back? Hell yes

First time camping at this campground and my experience was good. The site was clean and I felt safe camping solo. I stayed in A-22 which was a small site next to public water spout. The only drawback was the consistent stream of campers coming through to use the water and some felt compelled to talk to me to break the awkwardness of them being so close to my site (which was fine). The river was beautiful and was not crowded while I was there. About 50 mins from Paradise, WA. I would stay at this campground again, but be weary of sites near water sources and toilets (honey buckets, which are pretty smelly).
