Quiet small campground that is in a perfect location to many hiking trails. Large campsites with the river nearby.

This is the second time at La Wis Wis campgrounds, the first was seven years ago. On our second booking they did not have water, something about a new system being hooked up, I hope that the water is back on. The second trip also seemed as though the campgrounds was run down and on the verge of neglect. The location is ideal, but going back to the appearance, I would like to see some improvements in that area.

This campground was in need of heavy maintenance. Missing campsite numbers which caused confusion. Sites were overused. Dark and dingy. Too few restrooms for hundreds of sites. Great location but would not stay here again.

The campground is overused. Some sign posts didnt have numbers to identify which site. Reservation info hadnt been posted for several days which caused confusion with many campers. Vehicles everywhere.Seemed highly disorganized and the sites were in need of maintenance. Would not stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Clean, stocked bathrooms with enough facilities to accommodate a full campground. Well maintained sites except the water was broken in H loop. Some first- come -first -served camp spots available during the week but was full by 10:00 on Friday. River is accessible and Blue Hole was fun to watch all the kids jumping off the rocks. Parking for the blue hole can be challenging. We rode our bikes into Packwood Lake on the lower trail and it was really nice. Prices for groceries in Packwood are pretty high.

My daughter and I had an excellent 4 days and 3 nights in the H loop at La Wis Wis. Your camp hosts (I don't know their names) were very helpful, very considerate. The only negative is the lack of potable water in H loop. We had to drive a ways to another part of the campground for water. Thanks!

The campground itself was lovely, as always. However, the outhouses at this desperately need an overhaul. Either that, or they are being very poorly maintained.

Jack and Jill were the best camp hosts we have ever had. They kept the lots pristine and were very pleasant. There was not a single dirty bathroom nor piece of trash anywhere near the sites. They were so clean you could tell someone raked them like a serenity garden. Made for an amazing trip.

We stayed in the secluded H loop and it was wonderful. The toilets were serviced with TP and were pretty decent at all times (had read bad reviews on toilets only a few weeks before my visit). The river running through the campsite is really nice, still cold in late August! Camp host was fine. They came around selling firewood at night. It was also easy to get a second car permit on the fly, which was a relief.

The camp host does not enforce the per site occupancy limits. The single site next to us had 36 occupants, 6 tents (4 of which were in our site and we had to hike through the woods to a non-site to pitch our tent) and 6 vehicles. We had to leave a night early. Ruined our planned weekend.
