Tent camped and the site was great! Allowed to me to put my Sunfish Sailboat at the site in the water so was easy to get sailing anytime I was there, Park staff was very helpfully and had the time to stop and inform me of any rules that were impacted by my stay, Would recommend R, Schaefer Heard to anyone looking to camp and sail at.

The park volunteers were exceptional. Friendly and helpful. The park is spotless clean and never a problem.

Only negative is the sites / park are not patrolled for litter pick up.. We were there on a weekend and a very loud party was happening across the lake which was not addressed. Sites / park is great... we will be back!!

Great site a little confusion on which fire pit belonged to which site. Everything was great. Bathrooms very clean but could use some updating Overall very fun trip

Great location. About 5 miles off interstate 85. Sites are well kepted and accessible. Friendly campground monitors (hosts). Campers are friendly and helpful. Dumping stations and dumpsters on property. Gate is locked after 10pm.

I love the campground and how much space there is on the sites. Unfortunately, I had neighbors that did not respect the quiet hours which made my weekend miserable. Someone should patrol on weekends.

We did have a good time, but the hosts were a little over bearing and upholding the rules to the fullest. I do understand that they are doing their job but you don’t have to be over bearing. We had a lot of kids to take care of between the 4 families camping and we tried to keep all of them out the streets but couldn’t every time. A general rule in campgrounds is to drive slow and keep your eyes out for kids, I noticed that people were not doing the speed limit, even the hostess was going to fast when they got onto us about our kids in the road.

I will be going back and hope not to be harassed as much as last time.

The electrical being on the opposite side as the water is a little ridicules but I was able to manage.

The dump site was poorly designed and could use some renovating.
