Each section of this park offers wonderful opportunities for walking along the waterfront. The sites are well maintained, the facilities are clean, and staff and hosts provide excellent assistance to visitors.

Upon arrival we were welcomed like we were old friends. The woman at the entrance had a welcome package for us and I have never checked into a place that was as slick as this experience . Our campsite was clean and exactly what we had asked for, in the morning there was maintenance staff servicing the site next to us, the whole experience demonstrated professionalism and functioned like a well oiled machine.

In the typical fashion of USACE campgrounds, our site (#92) was level and clean. The campground as a whole was kept well, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. West Point Lake was down considerably due to some gate work, but it was still a lovely place.

The grass was very tall and the bathrooms are in very bad shape and needs to be updated. The dividers are rusted and looks awful.

Picnic table was warped and splintered and almost unusable. The lake was way down and the bugs were worse than I have ever seen! Probably because the lake was so low! Very disappointed this trip!!

Spent another wonderful week at Shaefer Heard! The site we had was great (Spot 92) and the weather was very cooperative (no reflection on RSH park). Staff was very friendly as always and my wife and I both enjoyed the peace and quite. One small issue, the water valve stem was leaking pretty bad the hole time we use it, might want to get it fixed...

Camp host were very friendly and helpful.The lots were well kept and the bathrooms were clean.Really enjoyed seeing the Bible Museum in Lagrange.

Great park! Camp sites are laid out very well with a perfect amount of level area with compacted gravel, table and fire ring. This is one of our top ten parks we have discovered in the past two years.

Pretty park, but gated camping areas within the park are not properly marked showing campsite numbers contained within each gated area; we had to rely on help from other campers to locate the correct gated area after driving around for over 30 minutes driving by our area simply because it was not marked. Additionally, after we finally located our campsite, we found parking in our trailer to be extremely challenging due to the very narrow width of the parking pad. We would definitely camp here again, but will search for a wider site next time... hopefully by then they will place campsite numbers on their gates for each area of camp sites.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The site reserved was just as described. The site was clean and easy to access. The rangers were also very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

we love staying with the folks here. Sites are clean & well kept up.. 5 night stay this trip & another coming up. Rained every day, part of the day. . However, still look forward to my next trip.Jerry
