Very nice, clean, and quiet campground. Lots of space between spots on the site I was in and most others. Close and easy access to/from I-85, but far enough away to not have noise. Camped here for two nights on our way from NW FL to SC. Took a little day trip to the "Little White House" in Warm Springs which was a nice one hour drive through the country and a neat little town. Callaway Gardens was along the route but we didn't stop there, maybe next time. Another place off my "bucket list" that I've passed by for decades while traveling I-85 and wanted to stop. Which was also the reason I chose this campground. We will be back!

Beautiful view of the lake. Lots of some type of bug swarming. Would like to come back in late fall. Very large area which was nice for biking and walking. The dam had a nice place for walking. Bathhouse was good.

Ive stayed at this campground several times over the years, and keep coming back. I hate to say it, but this was my least favorite spot up to now. Most sites are Lake front, but this one has a lovely view of the boat ramp parking lot. I got it because it was a pull through. I knew Id be getting in after dark, and I thought it would simplify things. I was wrong. I tow a 30 fifth wheel and this spot is in curve towards the left. There is a small retaining wall along the drivers side, right at hub cap height. Even though I tried to hug the right side of the space, the angle was too sharp and I got hung up on the little wall. Getting out was even worse because the front has a bit of a drop off. Theres just not enough room to maneuver around that little wall. A smaller camper would be fine, but not the 40 thats supposed to fit. That said, the people are always friendly and the facilities clean and well-cared for. I will be back, just not at site 66.

I often stay at this campground to break up long trips. Campsite 68 is a pull-through where I can find a sweet spot to have my camper perfectly level without needing to unhitch. I lower my stabilizers, unplug the truck, and plug in electricity and water for the evening. Leaving the next morning is very simple. The only problem with my last stay was at the dump station. Both water hoses were a complete nightmare, with extreme leaking at the spigot for one (the seals were gone), and the other hose had many holes along its length.I pull a 17' Casita

There was a storm a few days before we arrived and the site was littered with small limbs and sticks. The gravel area where the picnic table and fire pit are need a lot more gravel, there was a large muddy area in the middle. The campground has a lot of great views of the lake and some sites have a steep back in drive, but level out to a great spot close to the water and sunset views. When in the are we will be back.

This park and campground is a hidden gem! The area, as a whole, is gorgeous... the campsites are level, large, clean, and have everything you need. The bathhouse was basic, meaning painted cinderblock walls and basic fixtures, however, it was immaculate. NO signs of dirt, mold, or anything at all. The water was HOT and the shower had great force. The staff was incredibly helpful, communicated at a high level, and helped us with anything we needed. We loved our stay...it was short, but we will be back again and again!

Everything about this place was top notch. The check in process was smooth. The grounds were clean as well as the sites. The only issue I had was the turning radius on site 066 (pull-thru). My 5th wheel was just a tad too long (42') to make it through. I just backed out out. I was only there for a day. Next time I'll get a back-in.

Very nice, almost level concrete, pull through site (#66). Very nice stay. If you have a motorhome, be careful with the railroad tie retaining walls. There's not much margin for error when pulling through this site. When I pulled out leaving, my exhaust pipe caught on one of the railroad ties and it ripped it loose from the bottom of the motorhome and the tires ran over it. I managed to get it secured with some wire temporarily to get home. This will be an expensive repair.

Easy check in and out, Our site was a pull through at #66. It was very tight to not scrape tires on land scape timbers. Glad that it didn't storm, because there was a giant pine tree right next to camper, and several of its limbs were directly over our camper. No access to the water, except a grown up trail that led to neighbors site. But we did enjoy our time, and other guests were friendly. I just wish all the sites at least would have some kind of access to the water, to fish or put a float in the water. Because everybody does not own a boat.
