We have a 40 foot motorhome towing a truck. We were in sight 117, which has a "waterfront" view. Unfortunately, this section of the lake didn't have water in it because it's winter. We were next to the woods, which were beautiful and peaceful. Since it is January, it was a little cold, but there weren't a lot of people. I imaging it is quite different in the summer.

Beautiful campground with friendly staff. The view of the lake was terrific. The trails outside the campground are pretty rough, but there are plenty of roads to walk on instead.

This spot is good for rvs but not tents because the fire pit is right on the tent space and is way too close to the tent so it would be difficult to have a fire. There are also no trees between this lot and 116 so there is no privacy. If you rent both lots for family/friends, this is a great area!

Really love this campground. But the the showers really need updating. Are the bathroom in general.

The campground itself is nice. Great phone and internet coverage. Front gate employees were really nice. The nearby highway traffic and train noises were a little louder than I would have expected.

Only problem was I was sitting at the edge of water and lawnmower guys came and we had to move all our chairs and equipment for them to mow. They said we didnt have to but we did so they wouldnt have to come back. They should have a scheduled time posted for days they are going to cut. Noisy and disturbing. Dont know a solution however . We love RSH though, our favorite park and always has been.

If you own a pet expect to be harassed. If you say anything to them they'll call the Sheriff period and escorted out of the campground. I never go here again.

Great location & campground. During our stay in Oct 2019 it rained so there wasn't much to be done - not the fault of campground. Poor planning on our part - however, we have been before and it has good fishing and lake activities.
