One of the best campgrounds Ive been too on my road trips. Peaceful is the word I would use while staying there, on the banks of the lake. Very scenic and full of nature. My doggies loved our walks. Me too! Staff/Host were amazing to me while there, helpful, especially Valerie, restroom/common area personnel of the park. She was definitely a sweet person with a huge smile. Its on my list for a return visit in the future. Thank you for a well-maintained home away from home.

Everyone and everything was really good. The only drawback was the water level on the lake was very low.

First, the host was cranky and somewhat rude when we checked in. Our site location was beautiful! We were warned it was a steep back in, which I have no problem with. What we weren't warned about was steep grade had no transition to the level pad, which meant I ended up with damage to the rear of my Airstream. With dozens of other deep gouges in the concrete pad from other units, it was clear this was an ongoing issue that hadn't been addressed.

Our favorite spot for camping, kayaking, fishing, biking, and running! Bathrooms could use some updating but are always maintained and clean. Park hosts are friendly and helpful.

I thought it extra nice for George (campground host) to drive down to my campsite to make sure I could safely back into the parking pad on steep drive. I'd stayed in this site before and really appreciated the over-and-above attention from the hosts.

This campground, as well as all USACE campgrounds, have been a pleasure to camp at. We have camped at numerous USACE campgrounds across the country and have never been disappointed with the sites and staff. Don't tell anyone else, lol, we love them!
