This has been our third time staying here. We have enjoyed each time. Peaceful with beautiful views. Camp hosts are on top of maintenance and cleaning. Bath houses and restrooms are on the old side but have always been clean and functional. We will be back!

This is another lovely Corps campground. Large sites, many on the water. Cell service is variable by location within the campground and carrier. We found the AT&T signal strength far superior to Verizon. The day use area nearby has a three boat ramp and a spacious parking lot. Good fishing nearby and often the clearest water in the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were higher elevation sites available, but we camped at the lowest elevation, right on the water, and were very pleased with the room available to back in, and parking for the camper and the boat trailer.

Quiet, pleasant surroundings. Beautiful sunset across the lake. I saw deer every morning.

Nice park but sites 110-117 have the patio's on the wrong side. Very strange set up. These sites have been upgraded to 50amp. Bathrooms and showers are in need of desperate upgrade. Paint was peeling in the showers.

enjoyable stay, even with a tornado touching down within a mile and a half of our location. the site itself needs improvement the tent pad is old and the frame had rotten and almost gone. the ground around the pad was higher then the tent pad and rain water is a major issue on tent pad, would run onto or pool on the pad. Needs to have frame replaced and rise to height greater then the surrounding ground to correct rain issues.

The Campground, Staff, Facilities were all well maintained. Beautiful campground with easy access for fishing and boating. Sites was level and provided all our needs. If I have one not negative but observation is, the wash houses are in bad need of upgrade. They were well maintained and clean but could use a little TLC. Would definitely camp again on your campground. Thank you for making our stay easy and worth the drive.

As always the campground is well kept, beautiful.

Do not book site 111 or 112 unless your booking with friends. We were supposed to be in site 115, but the electrical was out so they had 111 open. Several sites in that area have the electrical on one side and the water on the other so watch description. To be close enough to our electrical box, it meant being close to the edge of the pad which left about a foot clearance before dropping off the edge to grass which was a considerable turned ankle hazard. Our friends at 116 had similar issue but were able to position camper enough so drop off wasn’t as bad. The worst part is the fire pit area for 112 was right out our front door about 5 feet from our pad and they were there in our face the whole time. Our fire pit area was behind the camper at a significant distance. The bathrooms do not have showers at all locations. The one near us did not. You’d have to walk a ways or drive to shower house. The host did have 115 fixed by next day but despite above, we didn’t want to hitch up and move again so hung out at 116. He was helpful and friendly.
