love the campground and the hosts are amazing, negative was our site had so much undergrowth we couln't even see water even thought it was a water site. Also, the lack of cell service and wi-fi connection caused us to have to leave 5 days earlier than planned.
We should all push for an updated cell tower in the area - the core should be pushing for that for the users

Site was great, not being able to have more than the allotted vehicle for family is crazy. No more day passes. I have been camping at West Point lake since I was young and never did your bait trailer or camper count as a vehicle. My parents could not even come and visit for the day, because I was at my limit on vehicles. Just not the same family environment I remember growing up. Put back the day passes, so we can birthday partys and enjoy the sites with family. Not all parents and friends have campers and can get a site together.

Stopped in for one night on our way to MS and found that this campground was everything we expected. We had a very nice site on the lake.

The Gate attendant was knowledgeable and helpful about the local area. The Park was clean, neat and very well maintained.

Great place to spend a week and a short distance to the grocery. Lots of trails to walk. Be sure to have a lunch or dinner at the korean barbecue on the right as you go into town. The place is a real korean restaurant and the friendly staff will help you choose something tasty.
