Spacious and clean sites. Spotty cell service is the only reason for no fifth star.

Beautiful campground and lake. Reviews said good Verizon service. We had none at our campsite and had to leave to use our phones. We wouldn't have gone there if we had known. Very disappointing but we did enjoy the place.

Unfortunately was there for only one night. Backed up to a lake with very clean and spacious site with an extra space to park a small boat if you have one. Easy access to dump station. Paved roads with signage to help find site.

R Shaefer Heard Campground is located within driving distance to The Little White House, Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain and many other attractions. You are close to LaGrange Georgia and Auburn Alabama.

Spacious beautiful sites, mostly level, with fire ring , picnic table and lantern holder. This beautiful COE park is clean with bathrooms conveniently located throughout. Dumpster area was also clean and well maintained. Dump station easily accessible. Definitely will return. We camped in a fifth wheel.

Came in late but the sites are very long and wide which should fit and units. They’re level, at least ours was and overlooking the lake. Just beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay here. The volunteer hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet and peaceful during the week, and a bit busier and louder during the weekend as one might expect. The restrooms and shower houses were clean and well kept. We were a bit surprised to find there was only one shower house to service the entire portion of the campground that was open in the off season. We look forward to returning here again.

Very nice campground. The sites were large and had spacious tent pads. Restrooms were dated but clean. Will be worth a return visit.
