I think this is the loveliest of the parks on West Point Lake, but they are all gorgeous. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the bathroom at our location was falling apart. The urinal was wrapped in duct tape. Doors did not even latch on the stalls! I reported this, and was told work orders would be issued so that was a very good response to the problem. Also, cell reception is excellent!

We spent 6 days in Sites 46 & 47 with great friends we camp with each summer at one of the West Point campgrounds. This year we chose Holiday - and had an excellent experience. On some other sites, I had seen negative statements about the Camp Hosts and staff. They simply could not have been nicer or more attentive and helpful. From check in to check out, everything was handled well - they even drove through the park several times a day making sure things were good. Heck, we even saw a Sheriff's car patrol through twice during our stay. Mowed second day we were there. Yes, there were ants and bugs - this happens when you camp in the south around lakes - actually it happens everywhere... and yet there were no exposed large ant beds. The bathrooms and shower houses are dated, but I find this pretty much applies to all COE campgrounds. It is what it is. We had a blast, and will look forward to being back.
