I received a certified letter addressing me as a female Mrs. Jane doe, with a citation stating I left my tent, hatchet, and trash at my campground. This was my family's first camping experience with my four kids one of which is disabled. The letter stated that I, Mrs Jane doe (I'm a male, never heard of this person) abandoned my tent and other items as well as littered around the campsite. My family, on the first, experience as a family camping trip, with my disabled daughter and 3 other children were cited for leaving beer bottles, cigarette butts, a tent, a hatchet, and various other trash. The letter stated that the campground was immediately inspected upon departure on June 10th. We left the campground on June 9th due to a forecast of possible 60 mph winds (we were camping in a tent). We cleaned the area very well and my wife even stated that "it looks like we were never here" to which I responded "that's the way it should be".This was my first camping trip as a family and I thought I could Instill in my young children how nice it was to disconnect from technology and enjoy nature, instead I am going to court with ample evidence.TLDR: Avoid at all costs. The campground itself was ok but no lake access except for boat ramp that doesn't allow swimming or fishing. You could also possibly end up with a fine that's so outrageous it defies common sense, as who abandons a tent and tools at the campsite????

The campsite #45 was quiet and our neighbors were respectful. This was my first time camping and I'm definitely doing it again! We had water and electricity hookup which was great! We also had a deck and Firepit.

Nice campground. Bathrooms were clean and functional. There are minimal amenities beyond the campsite and bathroom. This campground is best setup for those with RVs. If you camp in a tent and like power and water at your campsite, then this may not be the best campground for you. There is only one site with power and water for tents only (Site 45). That's a great site but there is only one of those.

We love to stay at the campsite. Very beautiful and well maintained. The site #45 was tent only with electricity. It has wooden deck with side bars under the trees. Only downside is very steep to park a car. It is small site only one tent setting.

Doll Mountain campground is good if you want to go boating or just hang out in the woods. To get to the beach you have to drive about 15 minutes. There are no hiking trails within walking distance of the campground. There is a boat ramp. The camp sites are large and the bathrooms well maintained with plenty of hot water.

Great little campsites! Beautiful views of the lake. Electricity and running water are great amenities. Restroom was just a short walk away. Check-in process was very easy. I also really loved that there were no streetlights and it got really dark at night so we could see the stars. It's also nice and quiet and other campers were very respectful of each other. We will be back!
