We camped at site #5. Loved having the deck, it gave us so much more room. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the deer every where. It was a very pleasant trip.

The bathhouses are too far from the campsites. There are no trash containers in the campground loops. The dumpsters are located at the boat ramp. The bathhouse in the first loop needs better ventilation. It was too hot and stinks all the time. The site we had, 5, was a good site. Plenty of shade and level. The fire pit, grill nor patio had been cleaned.

The campground is nice, but, whoever came up with the prefab speed bumps should have to be responsible for all the damage they do. Speeding is not required for the damage.

The campground was very shady, had lovely views of the lake peeking through the trees, and wildlife encounters with a doe and her fawns! The bathrooms were a short (albeit uphill) walk from our campsite; I always had hot water and didn't have to wait to use the facilities at any time. For our specific campsite (#5), be warned that it is a concrete pad- it says it is available to book with a tent, but does not have a gravel tent pad like other sites do. Regardless, the site was clean, spacious, and a comfortable distance away from other campsites. I would highly recommend booking Doll Mountain Campground to anyone passing through the Ellijay area.

Very nice and spacious Camp sites. They were very well spaced out. Sites are level and very well kept. The only reason of not rating 5 stars is because you can only get to the lake at the boat ramp. Swimming isn't allowed at the boat ramp so there is no place to swim in the lake.

Not as nice as other COE campgrounds, but still nice.Steep. Not direct access to lake from our site.

Cut some of those trees down so you can see the lake and go get some wifi or cable.

Water breakage took most of our 3 days there. Staff was nice. Not really lake accessible and lots not really on lake but overall it was a clean nice campground.
