Staff was so helpful, we loved our site, quiet, nobody near us. The lake was beautiful & you had access to go across the dam. Most people preferred the water sites but we loved the trees with the moss blowing in the wind. We were accommodated with a better site once we arrived, wanted something quiet & staff put us right where we needed to be. Great site & close to bathrooms & showers, also, the. Laundry being free was a plus, it was clean & had a table to fold my clothes. Loved our stay, hated to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eastbank Campground! Our site was nice and long for our 40ft 5th wheel and huge tow vehicle. The area is easy to explore via e-bike, we rode out to Jim Woodruff Dam (enjoyed straddling the Florida / Georgia line) and also explored Chattahoochee River Landing Park, The Scott Massacre, Nicolls Outpost and Victory Bridge. Lot's of interesting history all accessible via bike!

What a Great campground. clean and spacious. Our camp hosts (Tim and Laura) were the greatest. They worked hard and were Very friendly and helpful....

Nice park, sites are easy to back into, some pull thru's. Bathrooms are cleaned almost every day, they need updating or at least some new paint. Some sites in loop B have peek a boo views of the water, loops A & C have great views. Very quiet, nice hosts. There's a nice Piggly Wiggly just a few miles away, there are 3 Wal Marts 20-24 miles away. Would stay there again

Site was clean, bathrooms were not maintained very well when arrived, smelled like urine but got better over time. Loved the free laundry facility and the restrooms/showers located within same building. Campsites were spacious and camphost very Friendly. We would stay here again.

The area, B, looked so much better since the last time we were there, but it was due to the hosts that had returned ... Deett and Wayne. They don't let a site get "cold" before they're on it, raking, etc. So that was much nicer than our last trip!!! Too bad they can't stay year round. However, the cleaning of the bathrooms has really gone downhill .. I've never seen the toilets that bad. :( Also, why won't they give out a code to get back into the gate after hours? Every other site we've stayed out will give you a code to get back in, but this campground will not.

Park was very nice. Only drawbacks are both bathhouses are in the same loop. The other two loops have to walk a long way to get to them. The only two tent sites have the longest walk. The newest bathhouse stinks all the time and the toilets dont flush very well. Both bathhouses need completely redone.

5/20/22 - 5/22/22 - This is a really nice campground at a very reasonable price. We have a 36.5' Jayco 5th wheel and tow with an F350 SRW truck. Navigating to the campground was fine, fairly steep downhill to the campsites after checking in, but no big deal. We stayed in area B, back a little ways from the lake because well that was all that was available in our size when we reserved.There is a camp host in each of the 3 areas, A, B, and C. We met Rick in Area A and Jessie in Area B, both really nice and helpful folks, but we didn't need their help.Electricity and water worked fine. We got about 2.5 bars on verizon on our site B45 which was enough to make the Apple TV work just fine from my phone hot spot.Beautiful trees, quiet, relaxing visit. Not much in the town, but there are towns nearby with more if you need something.At the moment, the exit to drive up there from I-10 is closed under construction, that is exit 166. The next exit up the road that takes you into Snead and then turn right on 90 to get to campground has some construction on it as well, but a camper with a similar size rig as ours made it through fine, I believe that is exit 158, we drove down to exit 152, was a short 4 miles to 90 and then 13 miles back East on 90 to reach the road to the campgound, no big deal.The facilities, showers and bathrooms are old, but clean and work fine. The sites were immaculate. And it was so relaxing.They and I recommend you put insecticide around tires, jacks, ladder and wire and hose where they touch the ground and make sure no trees touch your rig as they do have some ants there. But we do that anyway.Fire Rings and small grill at each site, we made a roaring fire that was great, bought wood at the Marathon Gas Station just down the road for $8 a pack - two packs did us fine.The price is GREAT, staff are GREAT, come visit - you won't be disappointed. We will return!!

We really enjoyed our stay ay Eastbank. Very well kept. Bathrooms were always clean. Campground hosts very helpful and friendly. Eastbank is one of our favorite campgrounds.

Love Eastbank, have always enjoyed staying there .. but the volunteers have gone "downhill". We were in Loop B, where we generally stay, and neither the grill or fire pits were cleaned out. The area was also not cleaned up, raked, holes filled in, etc. Generally .. the past volunteers were fantastic but we hardly saw these volunteers even clean up any spots around us. Not sure why they get to stay there for free when they don't do much. :(

Staff was excellent. Love this park. Recommend eating at Rutabaga's in Chattachocee, FL. A little pricey, but the food is fabulous. Dam is now open to visit and to fish from. Not much in the area in the way of activities without driving 25-30 miles (to Bainbridge or Marianna). Quiet and peaceful.

Sites are large so you don't look right into someone else's unit. The lake provides nice views.

We stayed here for just 2 nights but would go back. The campground was not crowded and our stay was very relaxing. We chose a site on the B loop that was well shaded since our stay was during very hot weather. The people at the gate were very welcoming.

Spacious sites, clean bathrooms with good water pressure in the showers, friendly staff. The argentine ants weren't present on our site, but we sprayed like crazy, regardless.This COE campground is really beautiful. Awesome sunsets.Not much in the surrounding area that is interesting, but hanging out at Eastbank is pure pleasure.

great park but older couple at gate when checking in was almost hateful , not at all helpful or certainly not friendly, will not be back
