Well maintained, grounds and facilities. We were there mid April bugs not bad and it was quiet and the staff was very friendly.I would recommend this camp to anyone as i would most Corp Campgrounds.

Excellent. Although highway and country road signage could be spruce up a bit. Making a u-turn or detour while towing a trailer or tow car is no treat. I once had to drive nearly 5 miles down a road that I had no clue, that might dead-end, before I came upon a place where I could make my u-turn. (no backing up with a tow-car). Having said that, your parks are excellent, and I shall return often. Gary O.

It was an excellent park very clean. The two shower houses for the whole park are in loop B. We stayed in C the first time by the water, but it was a little far to the shower house so we stayed in loop C this time and it was more shade, but it was fantastic. We will definitely put this Park on the favorites.

As always such a lovely campground. Campground is well cared for clean and nice space between each site. Hosts are friendly and helpful. And lots not forget the lovely view. The only issue that was of concern is very few people followed the leash rule. There were many large dogs off leash the whole stay we were there. That rule should be enforced better for everyones safety and enjoyment.

Beautiful and well maintained facility. Only thing I would recommend would be to upgrade the riprap along the shoreline. It is presently composed of large chunks of concrete debris. That causes the lake to be difficult to reach and a great place for snakes and vermin to live.

We booked the last 2 campsites near the boat ramp. At first we thought it was a bad idea because of the expected traffic in the mornings of boat lovers. But we were wrong. Very little traffic was that day - maybe couple of boats and that's it.The campsite is very nice, it has gravel cover, and it's right near the water. It has the campfire, the hook and the picnic table.The only downside we found was the bathrooms with showers are very far away.And that's it.

The Camp Hosts are very nosey and stick their noses into everything you do. Its a bit overboard. Basically just annoying old people with nothing better to do. The spot we had was very difficult to back into (Imnot a rookie) and it was very uneven. The spots are large and uncrowded and the park itself is very clean and nice.

This was my third stay at Eastbank. Each time I have enjoyed the view, the facilities and the staff/volunteers. And the fee for seniors can't be beat! This was a one-night stay on my way to Birmingham. This was my first time in the C loop, in site 32. While the water view was limited (by trees and bulrushes), the bird sounds and sitings at dusk were a real treat. And, if the sky is reasonably clear, sunset is always spectacular from either loop A or C.

I hope nothing needs repair at your weekend camp spot. What I learned1. Check in is 4 pm. 2. Maintenance workers leave work Friday at 4 pm. 3. Maintenance workers do not work weekends. Your problem will not be addressed until Monday. You will probably check out Monday. My sites 50amp service was inoperative. The attendants response: use the 30 amp. No workers till Monday.WHY let all the repairmen leave BEFORE you get to your spot and discover a problem?

Really enjoyed this camp ground. Very close to a small town with stores for necessities and restaurants, but it is quite rural, quiet and well maintained. I found most camp sites had trees for shade and I was able to hang a hammock, one of my favorite things to do while camping. Cell reception was quite good using Verizon. Electric and water worked great. Beautiful sunsets from here every day. You can find plenty of firewood if you scavenge a little, but you can also buy it nearby.

This was a very well kept up campground. The sites were large and nicely mowed. The staff was very friendly. We brought are bicycles and although there are no specific trails the roads through the campground are nice to ride on. The roads outside the campground are nice too because they seemed to be less traveled roads. There i there is a parks for kids to play at but it is outside the camping area.. the is also a dam nearby that is easy to walk to. We did see a couple alligators off the road in the water on our walk to the dam. The area is beautiful. I would like to return. We are from Wisconsin.

We were in site 6 it was a pull through, not on water. But still had water views. Pull through accommodated class c and toad. In my head the only drawback was not knowing what time it was, between eastern and central time zones.
