Eastbank is an awesome campground but the volunteers that work ( and have been there quite a while) make u feel like youre checking into a prison, not a campground. Maybe if they spent more time cleaning the bath houses etc and doing what they should be doing instead of talking to adults like children it would be a much better experience.

I stayed at this park eight years ago and kind of forgot about it, Im glad I remembered had a wonderful time. Did a little fishing and went over to Chattahoochee Park and did a little fishing and a little picnicking what a great facility.

Great campground with beautiful lake front sites. Walking or biking distance to the Dam.

This campground was amazing. Not much to do, but the scenery was beautiful and the campground was immaculate. Great for rest and relaxation.

The spot (16) was beautiful! I'd venture to say it's the best in the park. I would 100% stay there again. That said, as an accessible spot, it comes with a trash bin, but the bin was 80% full when we arrived (which was later in the day past when cleaning should have been completed...) and the grass all around the site was very overgrown. I didn't get to go out to the water because of how itchy all the weeds were, but it was very stormy while there so that's not a huge deal. The water never calmed enough to use. Not sure if that was normal, but I love being in the water and hoped to be able to while there, but it was way too choppy. The ducks were so cute! They hung out on the peninsula around our site in the morning and nights. It was easy to back into too which I really appreciated because I'm new to towing. I definitely got some looks for booking an accessible site without looking like I need it (despite having a valid interagency access pass) which always makes me uncomfortable, but it's common as my disabilities aren't physically apparent.Location was ok, not super close to everything - maybe 30 min to walmart or so. It was July.... and the mayflies were out quite a bit. Never seen or heard of mayflies before, but now I feel like a pro. So many that we ended up not spending much time outside (plus the rain kept us in).Pulling in... lordy was that a sharp descent down into the loop. I was really worried that we would bottom out the butt of our fifth wheel, but I don't think I did. . . I couldn't drive and see it at the same time. We decided to leave a couple days earlier than scheduled in order to go see family along our travel route and I really appreciated that they automatically refunded us for the days we didn't use. I didn't ask and was expected to just eat the cost, but I got a notice saying they refunded us. That was really nice and really appreciated! All in all, we liked it and I will 100% be back - likely to the same site because it was great.

Stayed only 1 night at site #A09 right on the water at Eastbank. Now that we know about this place, we'll be back to stay longer! Our site had 50amp, water, picnic table, grill, fish cleaning station all on hardscape. Dump station convenient on leaving park. Not too many trees at sites, but they surround park. Sites are very roomy and level. The bathhouse was up the hill and quite a walk in another loop, but as we are self-contained we didn't use it anyway. (They even have a laundry room - also didn't use)
We rode our bikes on a trail/road to the nearby Woodruff Dam, where we watched the shore birds and even spotted an eagle. Lots of space to walk the dog and ride bikes. Many people fishing/going out in boats or kayaks. Watched an incredible sunset right across the water from our site! We were there between Christmas and New Years and it was pretty full, but still a quiet and lovely campground.
As we left the area, we drove through Bainbridge GA and noticed quite a lot of historic buildings and churches. That would be an interesting destination to check out while camping here.

Eastbank is a great campsite that is well maintained, very quiet with ample space and beautiful access to Lake Seminole. We stayed in site A09 which is right on the water with a big "yard". The park knows it has a "sugar" ant problem but they allow spraying etc. to deal with the problem. We chose to use Borax around tires, the power and water hookup and the stabilizers as a deterrent and did not have a single ant enter the camper. Obviously suspend your water and power connections. Our visit was very enjoyable and we will place it high on our list of parks to return to!

They had an ant problem which was an area issue not them. Sites are big and easy to get in and out, good space between sites and beautiful views of the lake.

We just love Eastbank! It's quiet and pet friendly. Sites are spacious and exceptionally clean. Over the years we always found the staff courteous and helpful. We were there 12/21 -12/26/20 and this particular group of hosts were way above any ranking for any campground we ever visited Thank you everyone.
@MeredithB672 · Camped on Dec 18, 2020 at Campsite #A9
We had the prettiest campsite and woke up to light fog on the lake - it was truly beautiful! The hosts could not have been nicer or more welcoming, and the other campers were so friendly and kind. The bathrooms were beyond clean and there was no litter/mess anywhere to be found. Definitely a wonderfully run campsite that we plan to return to!
